For me Alastair stole the episode with his scenes meeting Joan at the restaurant and at the bookstore. He seems like an intriguing character - I hope we see more of him! Liked that she used her sleuthing skills to track him down. And that comment re:diabetic suspect. SO SASSY BB <3
Also, that last scene was just killer. just UHHHHGGGG
maybe I'm being too optimistic but for me, the thing with Irene could probably be something related to his detective work? something terrible!! happened of course for him to break the way he did--maybe it was a big case and people died. maybe Irene was one of them? (though I wouldn't like this option, I certainly don't want her to be dead)
idk, maybe it's just me being hopeful!! but we'll just have to wait and see
I enjoyed the episode. I also really liked Allistair, he sounds like a great character. I love it when we meet people from Sherlock's past, very exciting. It will be very interesting to see where they take this whole Irene business. Joan was a very smart cookie in this episode, I very much like that about her.
Ugh, it was an awesome episode, the character development has been great so far!
Alistar/Alistair (sp?), was a relly nice surprise, I'll bet that he's gonna be a regular guest.
And the Irene part?, OMG, cannot wait to see how they are going to work with her. I do believe that there wasn't anything romantic between them, I can accept that Sherlock could have had an atraction towards her, but I don't believe she reciprocated. Maybe Sherlock screw something major and she got burn, dunno. But I'm sure he failed her somehow.
And this might be random, but, don't you guys love JLM body language?, I seriously love how "much" emotion/meaning he carries in a single look/posture, and the promos for the nex episode aldkfjadlkfjadñlfkj.
In short, Elementary is doing extremly well (IMLTHO) in the character development, I can only hope that this will continue. <3
