Stupid LJ wouldn't let me log in during the full hour.
I was really happy to see Cocaine from Scandal, too.

Joan's friends irritated me because they don't seem to know her, know what she might enjoy or like. Jumping down her throat about choices that make her happy doesn't really seem like the best way to deal with the situation.
I loved the jail scene because it was so similar to the one in the pilot.
Joan is a consulting detective. She and Sherlock are full partners. I liked how she casually looked to him for advice and how he gave it without hesitation.

Alfredo's back! Please let him be, if not a regular, at least a recurring character. (-:
I wondered if the husband was going to be the subway pusher, but I thought it would be the case that the wife figured it out and tried to leave because of that, and he killed her.

there is a thing i noticed - when Sherlock rewinded record from subway on 6 month ago there were few men standing at platform (view the pic) One of them was wearing heavy boots & light shirt. Is it only me who see - this man is Sherlock?) considering Watson's took new job on the beggining of episode and according a timeline it seems exactly the moment Sherlock left the clinic and was on the way to his appartment. look at his pose, and all, and his nervous finger twitch - if it's not Sherlock i agree to eat my hat) there only one i can't explain - why he didn't recognized himself on the record?

Anyway, I liked this ep a lot. The Joan/Sherlock dynamic continues to be the best thing about the show. It was great watching Joan struggle with so much self-doubt and it was fun watching Sherlock react to that. He seemed really upset when she told him she wasn't sure that she could learn what it is he does and went to go apologize to the husband and he was so proud later on when they figure out he was the murderer and she was all "But what do I know, I'm just a woman with a crazy theory?"
On the guest star front it was nice to see Alfredo again. And Cocaine is Joan's best friend? I can't help imagining that Becky busted out of prison and is now doing nefarious things around New York while pretending to be Joan's friend.
