A/N: This is what I've finished for part two so far. But there is more to come. Please comment.

For Joan  Watson the week had been very pleasant. The relationship between herself and her mother had smoothed over ever since Joan told her that she and Sherlock were working together as consulting detectives. She had even convinced Sherlock to attend two soberity meetings a month, despite the fact that she was no longer his sober companion.

Yes, things were going well for Joan. That is until the day a stranger came to her mother's home with a package in his hands. "Excuse me, Miss? Are you Joan Watson?"

"I am," she replied. "And you are?"

"My name is Jackson and I was hired to deliver this." He handed her a large envelope and started to walk away when Joan said: "Hey! Wait!"

Jackson stopped and said; "I'm sorry, Miss Watson. I know that you have many questions but, I'm afraid that I can't answer them. Good day to you."  He left her without another word. A minute later her phone started to beep. It was a text message from Sherlock which said:

Watson,
Have you gotten any packages today? If so, come to the brownstone. If not, come anyway.
Sherlock

Joan sighed. She went back to the house and left her mother a note, saying to call her if she needed anything. She texted Sherlock back saying that she did get something in mail and that she will be at the brownstone soon.

Thirty minutes later Joan arrived at the brownstone only to discover Sherlock nervously pacing back and forth in the living room. "Have you opened your package yet, Watson?" He asked.

"Hello, to you too." Joan retored as she sat down on the couch. "What's this all about Sherlock?"

"Have you opened your package Watson?" Sherlock pressed her and Joan sighed. "No, I haven't." She tossed the package  to Sherlock, who caught it with ease.

"I'm not opening anything, until you tell me what's going on." Joan told him.

"Fair enough," Sherlock replied. "By the way, did you happen to get a good look at the man who delivered your package?"

"Yeah, I did." Joan said with a frown. "It was weird. I tried to talk to him and he said that he knew I had questions, but he couldn't answer them."

Sherlock frowned. "Did you get his name at least?" Seeing his expression Joan began to worry. "He said his name was Jackson. Why? What's wrong?"

"That was the man who gave me my package earlier today," Sherlock replied. "Come Watson, let's see what's in your package shall we?"

Joan nodded. Sherlock took out a penknife from his pocket and tore open the left corner of the envelope and took out a single sheet of paper. It was, Joan soon discovered; a page torn from a diary. It was dated 30th, of March 1894.

I had just returned from the British Museum only to find Holmes in such a state of great nervous energy that I feared for not only his health, but for his mind as well. When I asked him what was wrong, his answer to me was thus: 'Moriarty was here, Watson.'

Unsure of what to do, I gave Holmes a sleeping draft and lead him to his bedchamber. Hopefully, he will be himself in the morning. Until then I am left to wonder just what sort of hold does Moriarty have on Holmes?  It is a question, I fear can never be asked.

While Joan was reading. Sherlock found along with the diary entry there were photos of a waterfall and serveral pairs of footprints. "What is that?" Joan asked.

"The waterfalls? That is Reichenbach Falls. It's in Switzerland." Sherlock replied. Seeing the look of exasperation on Joan's face, he asked: "What?"

"I know that Reichenbach Falls is in Switzerland Sherlock," Joan siad. "What I don't know is: whose footprints are those?" She asked pointing to one of the photos.

"I imagine that one set of footprints belong to my ancestor, while the other set belongs to Moriarty." Sherlock replied. He glanced at the clock and grabbed his coat, saying: "Come Watson, I think we should pay Captain Gregson a visit and see if he received  anything unusual in the mail today."

Joan frowned. "Sherlock, wait! What if Jackson sent something to the precinct-what then?"

"In that case,we should call Detective Bell and have him convince Gregson not to accept any packages-at least nout until we get there." Sherlock replied. Joan prayed for the cab to hurry.
