Can I just say...I bloody love Joan Watson.

I thought this was a truly excellent episode. John Noble just took things to the next level. Holmes Sr. was cold yet charming. Can't believe he sold that house (in the Hamptons, was it?) to lever Sherlock out of prison. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the season is going to unravel around their dichotomous father-son relationship.

And holy cats Joan Watson at the end. Slam dunk. Can't decide if that level of protectiveness is IC for her or not. She's 2/2 now since the season's begun.
