Deadline reports that CBS has ordered an additional two episodes of its new drama series Elmentary, bringing its total season order to 24. The freshman series will also air in the highly coveted post-Super Bowl slot this year. In addition, the network has cut it's season order for Vegas from 22 to 21 episodes.

I totally called they were going to use the 'late Irene Adler' title in the original story to imply she died by the time we heard her story here, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I really hoping to see her after all this heavy implication, but oh well.

Yay! I'm one of the people who watches the Super Bowl for the commercials, but I'm definitely excited it got that time slot!

Yay for Gregson backstory! Wish they didn't leave the cup thingie unresolved though.

As for Irene, perhaps Sherlock truly believes she's dead, but she's not? (Did a bit of a long-winded disjointed meta-ish thinky thought thing on Tumblr about this and other things.)

That is so cool they are getting more episode's and have the a spot after the Superbowl!

I liked this episode especially getting to learn more about Gregson although I also thought it was odd they didn't wrap up the whole partner planting evidence situation. Also I did not see the whole Irene is dead thing. Maybe Sherlock and Irene had a Reichenbach situation of their own and Sherlock only thinks she's dead.

I enjoyed this episode. Can't wait for the next one. :D
