Elementary 108 discussion post

Discussion post for Elementary 108 - 'The Long Fuse'

Spoilers in the comments.

What did you think?
venusinthenight: joan watson listening to sherlock (elementary - joan sits and listens)

SHERLOCK'S NON-VOCAL PLATONIC FEELS FOR JOAN. He wants her to stay and become his sponsor; he just can't bloody articulate it! And I secretly think she wants to stay too.

Somewhere in there it's all going to come out into the open. *nods*

Meanwhile, WHERE ARE THE BEEEEEEEEES?!

Loved the episode. Especially all the Joan and Sherlock interaction. The ending scene between them was awesome they way Sherlock just stared at Joan with so much emotion was awesome! Miller is such a great actor. I agree with [livejournal.com profile] venusinthenight they both don't want their situation to end. I also liked his new sponser sounds like perfect fit.

The mystery was good as well liked all the twists, kept my interest. I will definitely be rewatching! :D

Alfredo!

Also nice to see Cuddy, er, Van Owen. (Nice little bridge from another modern-Sherlock TV show, no?)

Okay let's comment before reading the comments!

I REALLY CAN'T WITH NON-ASEXUAL SHERLOCK omg. And I say that in the best way possible??? I am not complaining it's just. sort of beyond me. I sort of love it a lot, as well, it's new and interesting and wow.

((by. which I mean. openly non-asexual Sherlock??? Because Sherlock has almost always had that vibe for me --except maybe RDJ!Holmes, but him not counting XD))

I LOVE ALFREDO. I love him. A lot.

SHERLOCK AND JOAN AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND SHERLOCK'S FACE IN THE END AND JOAN UNDERSTANDING HIS FEELINGS AND SHERLOCK HOLDING OPEN THE DOOR FOR JOAN AND THESE TWO BABIES ARE SO PERFECT I LOVE THEM I LOVE THEM i love them so much gosssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

...wow I am the master of coherent comments! Now to comment away!

Ugh, this was a cute ep. I love Alfredo. I love Sherlock being all "I DON'T NEED ANYONE."

Some good lines this ep. I loved "Watson, you never told me you were funny."

I really wanted the wife to be the murderer -- would have been fascinating and a bit less creaky than the old amoral prostitute shtick they rolled out with Lisa Edelstein. To be honest, it was a bit disappointingly mediocre, and I feel they could have done a lot more with her.

Afredo is awesome and cute and I kind of maybe find him to be the most attractive on the show so far. *coughshiftyeyes*

So late to this post but I really hope they keep Alfredo as a reoccurring character.

The diversity on this show is warming my heart~

Sherlock's faces/actions were SO great in the beginning and the scenes when he was trying to locate his memories, when he was alone with Joan while Bell was taking a call, and at the end... ;__;

I hope Alfredo returns too!

When Sherlock said to Watson, "I don't know what you're on, but the old me would want some" I thought he meant that the old him would want some SEX with Watson. I was like, WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE JUST FRIENDSSSS.

He was referring to the hypothetical drugs she was "on."

AHHH. Glad to have dodged that bullet.
