I thought it was prettty good. I really didn't expect for the mother to be the one who did the crime, although when I think about it I probably should've. The subplot with Joan and her former co-worker was nice to see even though the doc was a unfeeling jerk. :(

I like Elementary but this season the episodes follow a formula that I don't like because I figure out the killer too easily. Its always someone found early in the episode who doesn't appear overly suspicious. Sherlock and Joan do some investigating and bang, the reveal at the end that it was obscure witness number three is not um... a surprise.
