Joan knows how to identify different writing styles. I wonder if we'll find out what else she's learned.
The dead guy in the tub was probably the grossest thing I think they've had so far all season.
Sherlock telling Joan about why he didn't want the chip was just... I wanted to give him a hug. He was so angry at himself for not being able to stay clean for that first day. That single day has probably haunted him the entire time.
The Sherlock and Gregson scene where Sherlock is talking about the murder he saw shows that they've worked out the differences they had.
I was pretty close in figuring out that the blackmailer was one of the people beign blackmailed, I just figured it was the one father we hadn't seen yet.

What everyone else had said above, in addition to the fact they introduced a rape survivor as just an average person opening a door before we saw her backstory. It was an excellent way to show the audience that we don't know who around us has been sexually assaulted, just by looking.
