yes yes yes I love this! I mean, I'm one of those people that loves romance in my television (I'm hopeless, I know!), but really, this idea of a platonic male/female relationship is a nice change. It's something different, and I see that as a good thing. I think it puts Watson at a new, more equal level with Holmes, interestingly enough, and I'd love to see the show explore that power dynamic more.
