This ep felt static to me. Nothing moved forward, with the exception of the introduction of Kitty, who doesn't move the Watson/Sherlock dilemma forward one iota. There is no history there--at least at present--to detail or deepen the Watson/Sherlock relationship (like, say, with Irene). Kitty just appears. I'm dreading that they might try to do a "Mycroft" where there are a lot of lies and betrayals and both Sherlock and Watson are put in horrible danger, but it doesn't really move the story forward, like in the case of Mycroft. Which precipitated Sherlock and Watson's emotional rift.
